God's Cure for Sin's Curse

The Galatians were being infiltrated with legalism. Paul shows them from the Scripture that we cannot rely on works of the law to be justified before God. The law brings a curse, and clearly shows that God is holy and we are sinners. God cannot look on us favorably because He is just and we are unjust. No one has kept the law, and it only condemns us and cannot save us. In contrast to being justified by the law, we can only be justified by faith in Christ. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes. Christ became a curse for us, and the curse is removed only by the cross of Christ. Faith is the only pathway to life.
