The Living Word

The importance of the ministry of the Word of God cannot be overstated. This passage shows us just how important it is with an intensity that is awe inspiring. And it does not mean just the inspired Word, but also the Incarnate Word; Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh. The power of the Word of God in our lives is what guides our understanding of truth, of life, of right and wrong, of life and death. And in the end, we will be called to give an account to God of how we made use of the Word which He gave for our salvation… every man, woman and child has been given the same Word of God, and we ALL will be held accountable for how we treated with that Word.
