    3.  Peace with God

               a.  Peace in this life  [Romans 5.1-5

               b.  Rest from all our labors  [Revelation 14.13]

               c.  Rest in union/fellowship with Jesus  [Matthew 11.28-30]

B. HOW CAN WE ENTER THIS REST?

      1.  Do your best  [1, 11]

               a.  Grace

               b.  Duty

      2.  Hear God’s Good News  [2a]

               2 Timothy 1.13-14;  2.2, 8-9, 15;  3.14-17;  4.1-2, 13

    3.  Believe God’s Good News  [2-3a]

               a.  Knowledge:  know it

               b.  Assent:  say YES to it

               c.  Confidence:  stake your life on it

      4.  Live out God’s Good News  [11]

      5.  Don’t forget God’s grace!  [16]
