The Marks Of A False Teacher (Luke 6:39-40)
Series Luke: The Gospel of Joy
108
In the New Testament we are given many different kinds of commands concerning how we are to live. We are commanded to love one another (John 13:34), to be unpolluted by the world (James 1:27), and to resist the devil (James 4:7), as well as a plethora of other instructions pertaining to all areas of life. Yet one of the most common commands in the Bible, and perhaps the least heeded in the church today, is that we not be deceived by false teachers (Jeremiah 23:16; Matthew 24:24; Acts 20:30; James 1:16; 2 Peter 3:17). In this sermon from Luke 6:39-40, Pastor Mark tells us what to look for in false teachers today so that we can be on guard against them.
