We see 3 lessons on truth in this passage, played out by the three key characters; the Pharisees who refuse to be changed by it, the parents of the blind man who are hesitant to proclaim it and the blind man who has been transformed by it. meanwhile, we see how the division that rises up among the Pharisees finds its resolution in the gospel.
