A Prophet's Prayer

The prophet, Habakkuk, knows of the coming judgment at the hands of the Babylonians. He prays for God to be merciful even as He justly judges Judah. His prayer includes praise of God and ends with both his fear of the future but more importantly, his firm faith in God.
