Return to Glory

At the end of Isaiah's introduction, "that Day" is once again invoked. Unlike the previous two chapters, this time the news is good. The Day which brings judgment will also bring a cleansing, a burning off of impurity that once again make God's people holy and the remnant remaining will once again find their retreat in the Presence and protection of the LORD.
