But We See Jesus

The writer of Hebrews quotes Psalm 8, especially where it speaks of the dignity and elevated place God has given to mankind in this present world -- as we are told in Gen. 1:28. But we don't now see all things in subjection to man because of what happened in Gen. 3 -- man's fall into sin. In contrast to fallen man, the writer says "But we see Jesus". This One Who was made a little lower than the angels in order to die for sinners is now crowned with glory and honor, and the world to come is in subjection to Him AND to all those who are saved by Him.
