The Calling of Jesus Christ

Aim: To understand and obey our calling in Christ.

Exegesis: We are called to love our Savior and His gospel. We exist to live (v. 1), believe (v. 2), and proclaim (vv. 3-4) the good news. We are called to live in our Savior and His grace. We must believe that God chose us (vv. 5-6) and loves us (v. 7).

Key verse: v. 7 ''To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.''
