Beware the Day of Vengeance

Isaiah alternates between warning the people of God's wrath for sin and giving them the hope of redemption in the Lord. This chapter, no doubt, focuses on God's wrath for sin. This wrath is terrible, all-consuming upon all the nations of the earth, and is eternal. This is, after all, why the Gospel is so very "Good" News!
