The Testing of My Faith

As James concludes his brief greeting, at the commencement of his epistle, he immediately lays down a great challenges to every believer in verse 2: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. The Believer's initial reaction might be one of confusion and consternation – how can difficulties be a source of Joy. James continues to explain why and how in the following verses:
