Love does not lead into sin. It seeks to protect. It seeks the best for others.

In this chapter, we begin to see the consequences of David's sin become evident in the lives of his family. His son Amnon lusts after and rapes his half-sister Tamar. Absalom murders Amnon. David's sins were forgiven, but he still had to face the consequences of his sins. God still used him though, because God is God and He poured grace out on his life.
