Every felt like giving up praying for some person or thing? ...
At first glance, Genesis 25:21 contains a wonderful story - a tremendous instance of God hearkening to a man in dire straits and giving him the desire of his heart - a thrilling case of God answering prayer.
“And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.”
It is that! But ... when you look at it more closely, you will find that it is even more marvellous than it first appears!
This text is actually a wonderful incentive to keep on praying on!
