God Frustrating Nations

Ever since the nations came together at the Tower of Babel, men have been trying to unite against the Lord and against His anointed and against His people. They conspire and they plot. But according to this Psalm, God continually frustrates their plans and instead implements His own. World history is a broken record repetition of this constant effort of nations to exalt themselves and dethrone God. But it never works. Even at the very end of the Bible, in Rev. 20, we see the same scenario playing out. The devil deceives the nations, rallies them against the people of God, surrounds the city of God and then gets wiped out by God. How comforting at this time of upheaval and revolution and election theft to know that God always wins and always frustrates the wicked plans of wicked people.
