God's Reviving Judgments

The logic of grace is that God revives and restores those whom we least expect. The holy and eternal God who dwells in a high and holy place is the same God who comes to dwell with those who are deeply discouraged because of their sin – to revive their fainting hearts.
True revival is not simply a 'double shot' of His power and presence. It is the gracious revelation of His holy presence to a people who have known and deserved His judgments. It is fresh life coming to those who feel unable to change their ways. It is the comfort of knowing that God has released us from judgment and visited us with His compassion despite our stubborn ways!
