The Dynamics of Gospel Partnering
Series Philippians
32
Thesis: Paul brings letter to Philippians full circle in reminding us that partnering in the Gospel is always about the same thing - it is all about Jesus Christ.
GOSPEL PARTNERING IS NOT A GIVEN (v.14-16)
- Requires commitment of time, resources
- God must be 1st priority
- easier to consume than to engage
GOSPEL PARTNERING BRINGS GOD-PLEASING FRUIT (v. 17-20)
- When you partner, God produces fruit of righteousness
- Long to hear, "Well done good and faithful servant"
- Implications: Romans 12:1-2 , Psalm 51:10
- All God's riches are in Christ - God is pleased when
we run to Jesus / run to the Father
GOSPEL PARTNERING IS GLOBAL (v.21-23)
- You're partnering has a cumulative effect - those
you engage with, get engaged with others, who get
