Esteem Them Very Highly In Love

Proposition: The church has been “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20). Yet it was not only by their words but also by their lives that our Lord and the apostles taught us how to live. Praise God that He continues to raise up elders in order that the church will be built up and protected until Christ comes again. Are you grateful for His provision of godly under-shepherds? What can you do to show that appreciation?
