John Knox, when a student under Calvin, found Geneva to be the best model of the Christian church on earth. What Calvin ordered in the Geneva church through simplicity of worship and Biblical preaching became the model for the Reformation churches in Europe and eventually around the world.
The follies and fads in many so called Protestant churches today bring shame upon the church. Calvin's principles will still serve the Biblical church today.
