Predestinated To Take Up The Cross

The Lord Jesus has called us to take up the cross and follow Him. In this text the apostle shows that God's redeemed are predestinated to a life of bearing the cross. It becomes our glory, our delight and our only hope. We are willing to bear its reproach for if we suffer with Christ, we shall also be glorified with him.
