Miserable or Broken
60
Things a miserable person will say and/or do that a truly broken person will not:
They will make excuses
They will blame others
They will say “don't judge me” and seriously misuse Matthew 7:1
They are not truly willing to change or make sacrifices
They justify their actions
They rationalize their attitudes and actions
They will claim to be broken, and they may really believe it.
They will often say, “it's just the way I am”
They will tell God how to fix their problems, instead of asking God what they need to do.
They say things like, “I deserve this” or, “the most important thing is to be happy.”
Brokenness = surrender
There is a peace that comes with true brokenness. When one is just miserable there is no peace.
