Forewarned!

In perhaps one of the most remarkable instances of Jesus preaching to the people, he forewarns them of the danger of refusing the gospel. He pronounced his woes upon those cities in which he had done great works. It speaks to us today as well about our great responsibility to obediently hear the word. But Jesus in this passage from Matthew 11, sends forth a most gracious and urgent invitation to sinners to find rest in him.
