Ephphatha

Second in a series preached at New Life Presbyterian Church, Escondido, CA on the Hand of Jesus. Dr. Clowney refers to the discovery of the deafness of his own grand-daughter. Ephphatha means "be open." Jesus bears the burden of the man's deafness, as he groans at his condition, cut off from others. Jesus compares the condition of his disciples, who fail to "hear" his true message.
