The Good Soil of the Sower
Series Matthew's Gospel
Good Soil of the Sower
Good seed, sown [by] a good gardener, [in] good ground, [with] good intentions and expectations, under good conditions, most often grows [into] a good harvest.
"The good sower went out to sow the good seed of the word of God. The objective of the good sower was to sow His good seed on the good ground that He prepared in advance to receive His good seed and return the product of a good harvest. The good ground is the aim and intention of the good sower and His good seed. The good sower knows that in the process of sowing, when He broadcasts His good seed, some of His good seed will fall on the unprepared ground that lies around the good ground He's prepared. The good ground and the good seed are a perfect match. What's the difference between the good ground and the other types of ground that surrounds it? The interest, investment and intentional touch and labor of the good sower upon the good ground. The good ground are they who have been set aside, prepared and broken up by the good sower, to hear, receive and return a harvest of the good word of the good sower, from a noble and good heart, that they may keep the good seed and its fertile roots that it may bear good fruit, yielding a good crop, returning in some cases thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundredfold."
