The Fruit of Patience

We are not a patient people. Yet we are told to wait on the Lord. Under duress, a persecuted church is tempted to be impatient and yet the Spirit is clear through the Word that we are to be patient even in these times. James tells us not only to be patient but to withhold our complaints in these difficult times - especially in our relationships with one another - and to seek comfort in looking to the examples of others like the prophets or even Job. Be patient - we need to be reminded because it is so difficult!
