Apollos of Alexandria!

Apollos was an Alexandrian Jew who combined his gifting for eloquence and Old Testament knowledge to spread the Gospel. At the time of his visit to Ephesus, he did not have a completed understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit in Salvation, and so was taken aside, privately, by Aquila and Priscilla for further instruction. However, as important as this incident proved to be in the maturing of Apollos's understanding of the Christian message, there are other important lessons for our consideration, to be observed. Subsequently, he went on to Corinth where he successfully engaged the Jews in Christian Apologetics. Apollos is last mentioned in the Book of Titus as making some sort of journey.
