New Life In Christ

Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

New life in Jesus Christ leads to a life of blessing upon blessing as we serve the Lord Jesus Christ. When we are raised to new spiritual life in Christ we begin a whole new life of growing in devotion to Jesus Christ and experiencing God's overflowing provision for us.

In 2 Kings 8:1-6 we read the stirring true story of the Shunammite woman and her son. Her son had died in 2 Kings 4 but God demonstrated His power over death by raising Him from the dead through Elisha the prophet.

What was their life like with the Lord after his resurrection from the dead? 2 Kings 8:1-6 tells us. What has God promised to be to us after we are spiritually resurrected to faith in Jesus Christ?

May the Lord nourish your trust in God's unfailing faithfulness to provide for you and to strengthen your obedience to Him through this passage.
