Jesus the Victorious

In this chapter the blessed apostle applies what he has collected in the preceding chapter. He uses the example of the beloved saints as a message of Christ's patience and perseverance in the Christian pilgrimage. Those who are the children of God are loved and received by Him but also chastened by their loving Father. We will observe Christ our victorious example in these opening verses.
