The Gospel is the Hill to Die On

561

THE GOSPEL IS THE HILL TO DIE ON, powerfully exposes and condemns today’s fashionable ecumenical compromise of “not being straight forward about the Gospel” (Gal. 2:14) in unholy ecumenical unions, ecumenical prayer meetings, ecumenical conferences, ecumenical councils, ecumenical ministeriums, etc. The Spirit of God moved the Apostle Paul to rebuke those who start down the road of apostate compromise publically “before them all” (Gal. 2:14) because DESPITE THEIR WELL REASONED JUSTIFICATIONS they are “to be blamed” (Gal. 2:11) for undermining the mission, ministry, and clarity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Apostle John commands us NOT to receive or greet those who pervert the doctrine of Christ, and warns us that “he who greets him shares in his evil deeds” (2 John 11). Far too many evangelical pastors, theologians, and leaders are sharing in the “evil deeds” of those who promote the “doctrines of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1) by glad handing, back slapping, and podium sharing with those who are enemies of Christ and His Gospel. May the Lord grant a revival of conviction that THE GOSPEL IS THE HILL TO DIE ON and a willingness to "rebuke" (Tit. 1:13) those who are “not being straight forward about the Gospel” (Gal. 2:14) sharing in the “evil deeds” of apostates.
