Can God Be Contained or His Presence Be Maintained

Isaiah 66:1
Thus says the Lord:
"Heaven is My throne,
And earth is My footstool.
Where is the house that you will build Me?
And where is the place of My rest?

As Isaiah has written this prophetic Word his focus has been 2 fold.
(a) Life as it is in his day.
(b) Life as it will be in the period of Restoration.
(New Heavens and New Earth)

This final chapter brings both together.
The focus is on the 2 kinds of people living in Israel.
(a) Those who follow God
(b) Those who reject God
