Love's Labour Wins

Most of the churches the Apostle Paul visited had particular issues that concerned him. However, the church at Thessalonica commanded his deep and enduring affection. Despite having difficulties of their own, the mainly Gentile converts were commended by the apostle for such characteristics as their "work of faith", their "labour of love" and their "patience of hope". They were known by the wider church for the right things. We too, should follow their example.
