Apostolic Prayer

The demands that the Spirit by the Apostolic Word will lay on this Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be light in that they are Christ's yoke but impossible in that most of the members by experience had been dominated by pagan beliefs. They may have had good health and stamina and even superior intelligence, but they would have failed to live as the Apostle commanded without the aid of the triune God. Paul demonstrated that God's aid is essential to understanding His will and to perseverance in obedience, and furthermore, that praying as he did was essential to gaining that aid. Praying as Paul prayed for the Ephesian church is a required means to receive from the Father, Son, and Spirit all the understanding and graces we need to live the life He has called us to live, lives lived to the glory of His grace and wisdom.
