How will you escape?

Have you ever tried one of those escape rooms? I did and while I enjoyed it I was surprised that they didn't start us out with a clue. It was a matter of walking in and start looking for ourselves. We knew we had to work our way out but nothing was straight forward and at times it was so easy to over look the answer to the various puzzles, so much so that our unseen guide kept having to ask us if we need a hint. And the closer the end time came the more frantic we became. Sin works that same way in our lives. So long as we perceive that we have time we are not in as big of a rush to get out of it. We know we need to but we over look so much in our own efforts in delivering ourselves that we even miss out on the help that God is offering to us. Here in our text the word "escape" means exit. God will provide an escape or exit for us and not just another puzzle to figure out.
