A Light in the Darkness

In the Scripture, we are reminded of the difficult days throughout. God reveals His Word from above and how to live in everyday circumstances. Jesus who suffered knows how we may suffer. We should glory with Christ. Peter speaks to the people of the surety of the Old Testament for the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. God's Word is a lamp shining in a dark place. We live in the day of darkness, BUT darkness cannot overcome the light, for God is the light. His Word is very realistic and is a daily gift to us for it is realistic, consistent and full of assurance.
