God placed Elijah the Tishbite right in the middle of the wickedness that transpired during King Ahab's reign. He was sent before Ahab and declared there would not be any rain, but before Elijah faced Ahab, he had prayed for no rain. By doing this, he was praying in the will of God because he was praying very the Word of God.
