Philippians 1 Part 8 - Christ Exalted in Life and in Death

As Paul waited in prison for his case to be brought to trial before the Romans, his great fear was not that he might be sentenced to death or left for years in jail. His great fear was that he might through it all bring shame to His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His heart's yearning was that whether in life of in death Jesus Christ would be exalted by what he did. What a proper and wonderful goal for us all to have as we serve the One Who died in our place!
