John Rogers: Protestant Martyr

This year 2005 marks the 450th anniversary of the Martyrdom of John Rogers, the first to suffer in the flames under the persecution in the reign of Mary 1. He was an eminent linguist and Bible scholar who sealed his testimony with his own death. At the start of this reformation month we examine the significance of this man.
