In the final two parables of Matthew 13, Jesus completes his series of lessons on discipleship in the kingdom. In the parable of the net, Jesus redirects attention to final judgment. In doing so he points out what is at stake in disciple-making. Then in the parable of the master of the household, Jesus teaches what is involved in disciples-making.
