Jude warns us about the danger of apostasy. Apostasy is a falling away from the truth of the gospel; this is ultimately a condition of the heart. We are commanded to keep ourselves in the love of God. We can do this by building ourselves up in the faith. Growing in knowledge, communing with the church, practicing family worship. We also must pray in the Spirit. Prayer is the key to heaven. Prayer is a good gauge of how lovely your faith is.
