The burnt offering is a picture of total dedication of the total person

We see:

1. The cost of the "victim" means that all God's people are able to give their best, because God gives His "Best" as a "victim."

2. The procedures (ritual) in the burnt offering shows the "victim" presented to God in the place of the sinner.

3. The total and continuous burning shows that every part of life, every day, is totally dedicated to God.
