Instructions to the Rich

Even Christ warned that wealth can bring problems as an obstacle to salvation. The danger of riches is them becoming the focus of our lives as they demand attention to attain and then maintain. When wealth and riches are the focus of our lives we tend to trust them and they become our treasures as we delight in them more than the Giver of them. Believers are to enjoy what God has provided but not to love them or become so attached to them they become influential in living life now and will prove worthless in respect to the life to come.
