Behold Your God!

We would all like a bit of comfort every now and then I'm sure. The trouble is, most sources of comfort only provide a brief moment of rest and relief. The Word of God, however, stands forever. And in Isaiah 40 he declares, "Comfort, comfort my people, says your God." This tender word comes from the One who is mighty– he is the Creator of all things, he controls all things, and he conquers all his enemies. His same strong arm that rules over the nations gathers his lambs like a shepherd. Behold your God! He cares for you.
