A Call to Rescue the Wanderer

Throughout the letter James has sought to deal with some among them who have erred in different ways from the truth, specifically the practice of the truth. And now at the end of his letter, James gives this closing exhortation and call to action: he gives an appeal to us to bring back those who are among us who have wandered and are currently committing sin, and in bringing them back we take part in a rescue mission to prevent them from ultimately going to hell.
