The Governing structure of Israel during the Mosaic period was according to a Covenant model. This means that the Hebrew people were organized as a religious and political body under a particular law standard. That law standard was God’s Law.

Since the Law of God is the perfect Divine Law standard given to Israel as a Universal pattern, it must serve as the law standard for all nations.
