The Privilege of Knowing

Jesus taught in parables to both reveal and obscure his message. To those on the "outside," his intent was to obscure. For those on the inside, he made every effort to get them to understand. Why was this important? Because he was the "sower" sowing the "gospel of God." Receptivity to his word was absolutely vital. It still is. It is the difference between life and death.
