God's Searching Eyes

King Asa showed great confidence in the Lord early in his career but near the end of his life he failed to show the same confidence. The Lord is not satisfied with spurts of faithfulness but He continually searches for those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. Complete blamelessness is impossible for sinners, yet God sued this term to describe some men like Job. Blamelessness should also describe church officers according to 1 Timothy 3. God promises to support those who are blameless.
