Speak No Evil

In James 4:11-12 James presents four statements that challenge us to speak no evil. 1) The command is given: Do not speak evil against one another. 2) The results of violating this command are given: Speaking evil and judging believers = speaking evil and judging the law, and disobeying the law = setting yourself up as judge. 3) The reasons for the command are given: Only God is judge and lawgiver, and ony God is able to save and destroy. 4) The question of application is asked: Who are you to judge your neighbor?
