Devoted to God

Treasure and discipleship
Here Jesus is preaching to the disciples. He calls us to devote ourselves to Him. God is worthy of our devotion.
I. Hearts to God V19-21
Jesus calls us to store rightly: moth and rust destroy-tarnish with age.
Out heart reflects our treasure-where are our treasures bound UP?
II. V22-23 Minds toward God
Our eyes are a way to look at the world. A bad eye gives us darkness, thinking they can see, but they cannot.
A good eye sees that everything is used to love God: they devote their minds to God.
111. V24 will to God
We cannot serve God or "stuff". God is Father and must be the one we give devotion too. Devotion to anything else is slavery.
We can only be devoted to God
