The Purpose of the Law

What is the purpose of the Law of Moses? Does it contradict justification by faith in Christ alone? Galatians argues that justification is by faith alone and not based upon works or law-keeping. Judaizers insisted that justification must include keeping the ceremonial, civil, and moral laws of Moses. The Law of Moses serves as a tutor to bring us to Christ.
