The Church with an Open Door

• This may be the church to pattern after.
• Praying for an open door of opportunity comes from what Christ says abut this church in vs. 7&8.
• Jesus knows that this church has a little power, and yet He never criticizes the. Hunch for it. Instead, He commends them for their faithfulness.
• Jesus calls Himself 'The Holy One'. Everything He declared about Himself is true and can be trusted.
• Unless Christ is everything He claims to be we have no hope.
• He alone has the Keys of David.
• This church was successful (faithful to Christ and making disciples) despite persecution.
• Perseverance is manifest by holding fast and enduring, and to make advances as Christ gives opportunity.
• When a bride gets married, she takes the name of her husband. So as the bride of Christ, we take the name of Christ-we belong to Him!
• It's not what others think you what you are that you counts, it's what God knows you to be that really matters
