IV. A Problem in the Synagogue 6:6-9

The man had a withered hand, but it was the Sabbath.  Could he be healed?
Isaiah 58:3-10 deal with fasting – but the Sabbath is also in view 13-14.

Luke 6:9  -- This is defense number 3.

V. Christ Heals the Man 6:10-11

  1.  He dealt with him publicly.

  2.  He dealt with him faithfully.

  3.  He told the man to do something the man did not have the power to do.
